How to connect network devices in places where there is no power supply?

I ran into a weird issue while trying to set up a Wi-Fi camera at my family’s cabin in the woods. The place has solar panels, but there aren’t power outlets everywhere, and running extra cables wasn’t really an option. I figured I could just use a mobile hotspot and a battery-powered camera, but the connection was spotty, and I wanted something more reliable. Has anyone dealt with this kind of setup before? What’s the best way to power network devices in areas without direct access to electricity?

I always find it interesting how many creative solutions people come up with for tech challenges. Networking in remote areas is something I never really thought about, but reading these discussions makes me appreciate how much goes into it. Cool stuff!
